CANON BRADLEY The Very Rev. James Bradley, rector of St, Marie's, Sheffield. since 1936, was this week presented with a cheque for £160 from parishioners and friends to mark his • appointment as honorary canon of Leeds diocese. At the pmsentation, made by Mr. H. C. Molloy at a concert in St. Oswald's School, Wybourn, Frs. A. Hewitt and W. McShane, of St. Marie's. and Canon .1. White, of St. Catherine's,'paid tribute to Canon Bradley's work for the parish.
REV. P. M. NORTHCOTE There was a large congregation last week at the church of Our Lady of Victories, Gunnislake, Cornwall, when a farewell address was given by the Rev. Dr. Philip M. Northcote, who has been parish priest of the rural district of Gunnislake for many years end is shortly taking up a similar appointment at BishopsteigntOn, Devoe. Fr. Hounslow and Heston Youth Club have arranged interchange visits with Spanish Place Club, the latter having accepted an invitation to attend, recently, an evening of dancing, games and competition at Hounslow, *hen 150 young people between 14 and 20 were present. This Sunday is fixed for the return visit.
