Luigi Sturzo Prize

The French paper Aube has founded a literary prize of five-thousand francs, to be called the Luigi Sturzo Prize.
The subject matter for 1939 is a book on "From O'Connell to Bruning: an historical and critical essay on the liberal, democratic and social orientations and activities of Catholics, from the beginning of the nineteenth century to the present time."
Don Sturm, priest-leader of the Italian Popular Party destroyed by Mussolini, has long resided in London.
The value of the prize in English money is roughly £28.
