Mgr. Quinlan Papal envoy in Korea.

AA GR. THOMAS QUINLAN, '1" hero of the North Korean "Death March." now in Ireland, has been appointed Regent of the Apostolic Delegation in Korea.
Mgr. Quinlan was Prefect Apostolic of Chunchon when the Korean war began. He spent many months in a Chinese Communist prison with Bishop Patrick Byrne, who died in gaol.
Bishop Byrne was Apostolic Delegate in Seoul.
Mgr. Quinlan went home last April after his release by way of Russia.
