Bl. Oliver's cause to last three years?

IlIZLESSED Oliver Plunket, Arch" bishop of Armagh. the last of the Tyburn martyrs, hanged at Tyburn in 1681, will probably be canonised in two or three years, it is believed in Rome. It will take that time for the examination of his cause to be completed.
As stated last week, the cause was considered some days earlier by the Sacred Congregation of Rites.
The postulators of the cause have asked the Cardinals, consultors and prelate-officials of the Congregation to examine another two miracles attributed to Blessed Oliver and to resume, on the basis of new evidence they have supplied, the process leading up to his canonisation.
The Congregation last week formally recognised that the evidence supplied by the postulators is such as to justify further investigation.
The proposed miracles will now be studied by a small commission, aided by a number of consultors.
If all the miracles are approved, the Sacred Congregation will issue a Tuto decree, summarising the commission's conclusions.
