Yorkshire parish 100 years old

THE parish of St. Joseph's, Todmorden, Yorks, has celebrated the centenary of its foundation. Bishop Holland of Salford celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving and afterwards met parishioners at a reception at Calder College. Guests included Fr. C. Cunningham, Provincial of the English Servite Province, other Servite priests, the Mayor and Mayoress and representatives of other churches in the borough.
A 24-page booklet, with several phouigraphs, has been produced to mark the centenatly. It recounts the history of the parish. Fr. Basil Prior is Pnor and parish priest.
