NEW BISHOP OF SALFORD Consecration in Three Weeks

The Rt. Rev. Mgr. H. Vincent Marshall will be consecrated sixth Bishop of Salford by Dr. Downey, Archbishop of Liverpool, in the Cathedral of St. John, Salford, on Thursday, September 21, at 10.30 a.m.
The co-consecrators will be Mgr. McNulty, Bishop of Nottingham, and Mgr. Poskitt, Bishop of Leeds, and the special preacher will be Mgr. Moriarty, Bishop of Shrewsbury.
The consecration will be followed by a luncheon and a public reception.
