The annual procession of the Holy Blood took place in Bruges last week. The octagonal phial containing the precious relic is contained in the casket of gilded silver (seen in the picture) which is decorated with cameos, enamels and precious stones. The reliquary was made in 1614 by a Bruges
goldsmith, Jean Crabbe.
