TRIBUTE TO MR. HARDING

NEARLY 2,000 PEOPLE attended Friday's Solemn Requiem Mass in Westminster Cathedral for Mr. Gilbert Harding.
Among the TV and radio personalities in the congregation were: Mr. Eamonn Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Michelmore, Mr. Brian Johnstone, Mr. Ronald Waldman, Miss Mary Malcolm, Mr. Jack Train, Mr. Lionel Hale. Miss Hermione Baddeley. Miss Polly Elwes, Mr. Bernard Braden, Mr. Wynford Vaughan Thomas (who has taken Gilbert's place in "What's My Line?"), and Mr. L. P. Redmond Roche, representing the Catholic Radio and TV Guild.
Closest relatives present included three aunts and an uncle-sisters and brother of Gilbert's father.
The Mass was sung by Mgr. Gordon Wheeler (cathedral administrator). Cardinal Godfrey presided.
