BISHOP-ELECT HOLLAND
Consecration : Wednesday THE consecration of Mgr. Thomas Holland, D.S.C., D.D., Ph.D., as co-adjutor Bishop of Portsmouth. will take place in St. John's Cathedral, Portsmouth, next Wednesday, feast of St. Thomas the Apostle.
Archbishop King, Bishop of Portsmouth will consecrate his coadjutor who will help care for a diocese which comprises all Hampshire and Berkshire including Portsmouth. Southampton, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight as well as the Channel Islands.
One of the co-consecrators will be Bishop ,Dwyer of Leeds; Arch
bishop Heenan will preach. It is expected that in all eight or ten bishop will be present
The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. but from 10.30 onwards the four processions will be making their way from Bishop's House to the Cathedral — those of the canons and prelates, the visiting bishops, the consecrators, the bishop-elect and the Apostolic Delegate.

Archbishop Roberts. Si., was received in private audience by the Holy Father last week.
