C.H.' report starts a drive for hostels

IIRRED by THE CATHOLIC HERALD revelations of the housing conditions of Irish workers and by similar reports soon after, the Birmingham Social Council has decided to send representatives to interview the civic authorities and urge them to provide more hostel and other accommodation.
