CHARITABLE BEQUESTS Mgr. T. J. Walshe

Mgr. 'rhotnats Joseph Walshe, of Lismore, The Crescent, Waterloo Park,
Waterloo, Lancashire, who died on August 16, has left estate of the gross value of 16,524 (net personalty £5,684). He left:— kits chalice to the Rector of St. Peter's Foreign Missionary College, Freshfield, Lancashire, requesting that it he used in one of their Poor Missions.
£50 to his housekeeper, Ellen Bullen, and the residue of the property upon trust tor Ellen Sullen for life, and then
£1,000 to the Rector of St. Joseph's College, Upholland, near Wigan, to be applied in defraying the expenses of the observatory, or otherwise for the benefit of the college.
11,000 to the Lancashire Infirm Secular Clergy Fund, and a further £120 for Masses. £1,000 to the Liverpara Roman Catholic Ecclesiastical Education Fund.
.1100 upon trust for the benefit of the Mission of the Blessed Sacrament, Aintree, Liverpool.
£100 to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Liverpool Central Council) for distribution amongst pour of the Archdiocese of Liverpool.
And the ultimate residue as to one-half to the Liverpool Roman Catholic Ecelestiastical Education Fund and one-half to the Lancashire Infirm Secular Clergy Fund.
MR. WILLIAM JUDD Catholic charities in Ireland benefit extensively under the will Mr William Francis Judd, of Bray, Co. Wicklow, who died on July 31 last. Mr Judd left personal estate in England and Eire of the value of £54,834. His many legacies Include the following :—
To the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, at Bray, £1,250 for the poor; £250 is
bequeathed to the Society's Free Night Shelter, an( 1250 for the S.V.P.
orphanage at Glasnevin. There are gifts of £1,000 each to the Archbishop of Dublin towards the new Cathedral, and to the parish priest of Bray for church purposes. £500 is left to the Society of
Jesus for poor students. The Maynooth Mission to China, the Catholic,
Protection and Rescue Society of Ireland, the Society of African Missions, Our Lady's Hospice for the Dying, the Magdalen Asylum, and the Sisters of Charity in Upper Gardiner Street, Dublin, receive 1250 each. Legacies of £100 each are left to the Catholic Seamen's Institute, St. Joseph's Asylum and School for the male blind, and the Belvedere Newsboys' Club.
Mrs Mary Sibeth
Estate valued at £11,958, with net personalty £11,689, was left by Mrs Mary Helen Sibeth, who died on October 3 last. This lady's bequests for charity Include £1,000 to the Church of the Holy Name and St. Edward the Martyr at Shaftesbury; £500 each to St. Dunstan's, the R.S.P.C.A., and the N.S.P.C.C.; 1200 to St. Francis Leper Guild; £100 to Our Dumb Friends League; and a residue to Nazareth House, Hammersmith.
