Charitable Bequests

MR J. WALSH Mr John Walsh, of Grassendale, Liverpool, who died on December 8 last (17,908: inns 15,837), left 1100 to the Catholic church at Garston, and #50 each to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Liverpool, the Crusade of Rescue, and the Liverpool Catholic Children's Protection Society.

Considerable benefactions for charity have been left by Miss Ethel Enid Power, of Blackpool, whose estate has been valued at #31,077, with net personalty #29,249.
A legacy of 11,000 goes to the Blackpool Poor Children's Clothing Fund; and a residue is divided as to half to the Holy Child Convent at Layton Hill, Blackpool, and half for such charitable purposes in England as the executors may determine.
