Australian joins the Carthusians

Fr. George Hannan, of St. Patrick's Cathedral. Melbourne, has joined the Carthusians at St. Hugh's Charterhouse, Parkminster, Sussex. Thirty-five years old, Fr. Hannan is the younger brother of Mgr. J. Hannan, former national director of the Mission Aid Societies in Australia. He is the third Australian to go to St. Hugh's Charterhouse, and there are now 19 priests in the community.
