£2,500 for Liverpool Cathedral
Mr Bernard Edward Paimer, of Station Road, Rearsby, Leicestershire, retired farmer, who died in August, aged 80, left L51,494 gross, £50,313 net. He left £350 to the Catholic Parish of' the Infant of Prague, Syston, Leicester, for the building fund.
Miss Mary Ethel Herbison, of Christopher Grange, Youens Way East, Present Road, Liverpool, who died in -.2ebruary, left £38,944 gross, r3t.1,506 net. She left £2,500 to Liverpool Catholic Cathedral Building or Endowment Fund, £250 to Menevia Diocesan Mission Fund, for Masses, £200 to Lancashire Infirm Secular Clergy Fund, £100 to the Catholic Women's League. After a number of bequests and Irds of the residue variously to personal legatees, she left }rd of the residue equally between the Catholic Radio Centre, Hatch End, St Vincent's School for the Blind and Partially Sighted, Liverpool, and the Cheshire Foundation.
Mrs Violet May Lily Davey, of Manor Terrace, Totnes Road, Paignton, Devon, who died in January, left £12,138 gross, £11,953 net. She left £1,000, her interest in her home and her personal chattels variously to personal legatees, £1,000 to Cecil Road Catholic Church, Paignton, in augmentation of the New Church Hall Fund, and the residue to the League of Friends of Paignton and District Hospital.
