Mr. Anthony Gorman, 28-yearold son of Capt. B. M. P. Gorman, one of Nottingham's leading Catholics, has been chosen prospective Conservative Parliamentary candidate for the Broxtowe division of Nottinghamshire.
Born in Newport, Mon., Mr. Gorman was educated at the Assump,ionists' Becket School, West Bridgford.
In the last war, serving in the Royal Navy, he took part in the Salerno and D-Day landing operations.
At the last General Election the Labour candidate was returned with a majority of 24.201 over the Conservative candidate.
