Mgr. Beck, A.A., Coadjutor Bishop of Brentwood, celebrated Mass for the Ilford Catholic Football Club on Sunday last and afterwards had breakfast with club members.
Mr. T. H. Fielding, 0.B.E., Deputy Controller of the Midland Region of the Ministry of Labour. has retired after 39 years in the Ministry's services. Mr. Fielding is a Catenian.

After an illness lasting for eight years the death took place in Nottingham last week of Miss Joan Patricia (" Paddy '') Gorman, daughter of Capt. B. M. P. Gorman. the Nottingham Superintendent Registrar and Clerk to the Assessment Committee, one of the city's most prominent Catholics.

Fr. Martin D'Arcy, S.J., will speak on " The Mind and Heart of Love," at " Chez Auguste," Frith Street, Soho, on Tues., Feb. 15, at 8 p.m., under the auspices of the University of London Catholic Society (Graduate Section).
