MEMORIAL CHAPEL TO QUEEN ASTRID

On the spot where the Queen of the Belgians was tragically killed last year a chapel has been erected to her memory.
Five-hundred Belgian ex-combatants were present when it was opened last Sunday.
The memorial consists of a small hutlike building in keeping with the surroundings. It is surmounted by a cross of Swedish stone.
