Church Unity Octave

The Oriental Congregation in a statement last week recorded the interest being taken this year in the Church Unity Octave, adding that the Holy Father himself had celebrated a Mass for the Octave intentions.
Cardinal Tisserant marked the occasion by presiding in Rome at a solemn Benediction according to the Ruthenian rite, while at Geneva, where conferences and discussions on Oriental matters had been arranged, a Solemn Byzantine Liturgy was celebrated in the church of St. Paul.
