Nursing Sisters Appeal nets £360

ST. ANDREW'S HOSPITAL, Dollis Hill, London, has so far received £360 through itS appeal launched this month for new extensions to be built marking its golden jubilee year. The hospital, under the care of the Little Company of Mary (better known as the Blue Nuns), needs £93,000 to clear a bank overdraft and £300,000 for the new extensions, which include a maternity ward, operating theatre and accommodation for 50 extra beds.
Not under State Control, and depending entirely on voluntary Contributions, it has treated thousands of acute medical and surgical cases, irrespective of creed or nationality.
