5 ST. PIUS CHURCHES

One to be opened in Japan on Sunday THEparish priests of Rome are sponsoring a movement to build a church dedicated to St. Pius X.
They hope it will become a special centre of devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
A newly completed church in Ninomiya, Japan, is to be dedicated to St. Pius X the day after his canonisation.
The new church of St. Pius and the Japanese Martyrs will be blessed by Bishop Arai of Yokohama.
As already reported in The CATHOLIC HERALD, the first church in the world to be dedicated to St. Pius X will be opened by Bishop King of Portsmouth at Wootton, near Oxford. The ceremony will take place almost immediately after the Holy Father proclaims the canonisation.
Another Church of St. Pius X is to be built in Milan by the Blessed Sacrament Fathers.
And a new church in the Drumchapel district of Glasgow will also be dedicated to the new saint.
