Yugoslavia's Vatican Minister Leaves Italy

Since Germany's domination of Yugoslavia, one of the latter country's diplomatic representatives to the Holy See has taken up residence within Vatican City, while another member of the staff—a priest—continues to reside in Rome. Dr. Niko Mirosevic Soigo, the Minister, did not take up residence in Vatican City, as had the ambassadors from France and Poland and the Ministerfront Great Britain to the Holy See, The 'Belgian Ambassador resided in Vatican City for a time, but later was offered free residence in
Rome by the Italian Government. Dr. Sorgo continued to live in Rome with the permission of the Italian Government.
Later, the Italian Government took occasion to complain about Dr. Sorgo's attitude. and requested him to leave Italian territory.
