Catholics throughout the country will learn with pleasure that the Pope has conferred upon Mr. Oswald A. Goodier, J.P., the honour of Knight Commander in the Order of St. Gregory the Great.
The new K.C.S.G,, who is brother to Archbishop Goodier, S.J., has deserved his distinction by much active service both as a Catholic and a public worker. In 1919-21 he was Grand President of the
Catenian Association. For many years past, the Stonyhurst Association, of which he was President in 1922, has had his help as hon. secretary and treasurer.
