Head of Cafod gains honour

MR ROBIN HOOD, director of the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development, which functions as a commission of the Bishops' Conference. to bring resources of the Church in England to the Third World, has been awarded the Papal honour of the KCSG — Knight Commander of St Gregory.

Mr Hood said that he was "delighted" with the award. but intended first and foremost to continue to devote himself to the development and work of Cafod, The organisation has for some years functioned from cramped basement accommodation in Central London, but there are hopes that it may soon move to more reasonable premises.
