Bradford CATHOLIC YOUTH RALLY.—At the Theatre Royal, 13radford, a mass rally of the C.Y.MS. was held last Sunday, which was addressed by the Bishop of Leeds, Dr. W. J. O'Donovan (the lay president of Catholic Unity) and the Rev. N. J. CoghIan. Speakers stressed the need of wider and more earnest support of the Catholic Youth Movement. Dr. O'Donovan spoke on Modern Divorce. He pointed out that Catholics living as they did as a minority amongst non-Catholics, had a duty and responsibility to warn their neighbours against the evil influences which were at work in the country, in Parliament, and even on the judicial bench, to destroy the sanctity of marriage.
AJTER FIFTY YEARS.—A Chapel, set aside in St. Joseph's church, Bradford, has been completed by a handsome altar dedicated to St. Patrick.

SOCIAL GUILD RALLY.—The Bishop of Leeds will be the principal speaker at the annual rally in connection with the Leeds branch of the Catholic Social Guild which will take place at the Albert Hall, Leeds, on Sunday evening, April 11. The subject of his address will be Catholic Social Doctrine.
600 CONFIRMED.—St. Anne's Cathedral, Leeds, was filled to capacity on Sunday afternoon last, when the Bishop of Leeds gave confirmation to over six hundred children.
£100 GIFT.—Canon T. Bentley, of St. Anne's Cathedral, Leeds, has received a donation from a parishioner of £100 towards the building fund of the new church of Holy Rosary, Chapeltown Road, Leeds,

CATHEDRAL SITE OPEN DURING EASTER.—The Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Site will he thrown open on Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, and many Catholics throughout the North-West will no doubt take the opportunity of viewing the great progress which has already been made on the crypt. There will be no charge for admission.

NEW L35,000 CHURCH OPENED. -On St. Patrick's Day the new £35,000 church dedicated to St. Patrick, was opened by the Bishop of Salford.

TRUTH ABOUT THE SPANISH WAR.—Father Henry Gabana gave an address at the City Hall, Newcastle, on For God and Spain, which was very well received.
Wetherby ' NEW CATHOLIC COUNCILLOR.— Mr. E. Fitzgerald Hart, solicitor, Leeds and Wetherby, was one of the successful candidates at the Urban District Council election for Wetherby on Saturday last. He was nominated for the Clifford district and polled 214 votes, one vote less than th other successful candidate and seventyfive votes more than the defeated candidate.
