100 miracles in
a Pope's cause
A decree of the Sacred Congregation of Rites concerning the beatification cause of Pope Innocent XI recalls evidence of nearly 100 miraculous cures claimed through the Pope's intercession.
, The decree approves two of the miracles, and it is expected that Pope Innocent will be beatified in October.
The cures concerned a Dominican nun and a layman living in the 17th century. The evidence of the cures was given by Pope Innocent's personal doctor.
