NEW ABBOT FOR PRINKNASH

OWING to continued ill-health and advancing age, the Abbot of Prinknash, Dom Wilfrid Upson, 0.S.B., has resigned from the active administration of the Abbey.
At a recent Chapter meeting at Prinknash, in which the monks of Farnborough and Pluscarden took part, Dom Dyfrig Rushton, who has been prior of the monastery for the past 12 years, was elected Abbot Coadjutor with the right of succession.
