AN Aquinas Society
A joint meeting of the Aquinas Society and the Philosophical Society of University College, London, will take place at the Department of Philosophy, University College, Gower Street, London, W.CI, on Thursday, February 26, at 6 p.m.
London Catholic Students The University of London Catholic Society will hold a study day on Saturday, March 13, at St. Edward's Convent, St. John's Wood, N.W.I. All applications to college secretaries or 31, Portman Square, W.I.
Catholic Students Union The Union of Catholic Students invites Catholic students to participate in the congress of the National Union of Students, to be held at Leicester from March 31 to April 8. It Is hoped to arrange some Catholic functions in connection with the congress.
London Newman Circle Dr. F. Sherwood Taylor, M.A., B.Sc., Ph.D., Curator of the Ashmolean Science Museum, Oxford, will speak on " Some Moral Problems Raised by Science," at 7 p.m., on Wednesday, February 25, at the Newman International Centre, 31, Portman Square, W.I.
Norbury A Brains Trust will take place at the Lecture Hall, Norbury Library, &WIC on Tuesday, February 24, at
7.45 p.m., and is organised by St. Bartholomew's, Norbury. Speakers will include R. J. Mellish, M.P., and the Hon. Hugh Fraser, M.P.
Travelling Mission The Mission will visit this week: Puttenham, in the parish of Ash, Surrey, and Bowlhead Green, in the parish of Godalming. Mass on Sunday, February 22, at the Police House, Puttenham, at 830, and at Our Lady's Chapel, Bowlhead Green, at 10.

Alan Turner Opera The Alan Turner Opera Company are taking over the Grand Theatre, Derby, for the whole of next week, when they will present Johann Strauss' Die Fledermatis. This company has raised over £2,500 for charity and again on this occasion, all profits will go to local charities, including the Mayor's memorial fund and the churches of St. Mary and St. Joseph, etc.
SOCIETIES Salesian College
A debate took place last Sunday at the Salesian College, Battersea, between the students and the Central Discussion Group of the Southwark Catholic Youth Confederation. Fr. P. Rorke, Si., of Wimbledon Col'ere, was the chairman.
