Last Friday the Bishop of Northampton, Mgr. Laurence Youens, laid the foundationstone of the new £10.000 church at Corby, Northants. Inside the foundation-stone was placed a hermetically sealed tube containing a parchment, a short history of the church, the name of the parish priest, the Rev. Ralph E. Underwood, and some current coins of the realm. On the parchment was written in Latin, "The Very Illustrious and Right Reverend Laurence Youens, Bishop of Northampton, blessed this stone in honour of Our Lady of Walsiaglaana, March 25, 1.938."
