T.V. goes to Caldey Island

A Papal dispensation to break their Trappist vow of silence has been granted to the monks of Caldey Island so that they may take part in a BBC Television outside broadcast on Tuesday, May 28. Hywel Davies, who introduces the programme, "Island Monastery" will visit the Cistercian community and seek to show viewers something of the life of the monks
