Fr. Eugene Boylan. the wellknown Cistetcian spiritual writer of Roscrea, Ireland. has been appointed Superior of the Trappist community on Caldey Island. off the Pembrokeshire coast. He will take up his new duties soon.
Fr. Boylan has only recently returned from Australia, where he had been on a special mission for the Cistercian Order, The Caldey community are mostly Relgian monks from ChimaY, They sank over the island some years ago when the Benedictines moved to their present home at Prinknash. Glos.
