Compendium published soon
THE NEW Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is to be published next month by the Catholic Truth Society.
• The compendium is a 200-page synthesis of the 1992 Catechism of the Catholic Church. It has been prepared by the Vatican to deepen people's knowledge of the teachings of the Church. It comprises four main parts: the Profession of Faith; Celebration of the Christian Mystery; Life in Christ; and Christian Prayer. The Compendium echoes the format of the Penny Catechism, published by the CTS since 1889.
