French told : Stay in Rotary'

"FRENCH Catholics can and should remain with the Rotary Club," the Archbishop of Paris, Mgr Pekin, said on Wednesday.'
Commenting on the recent decree of the Holy Office, the Archbishop said : " The measure was taken at the request of the Spanish. Dutch and Mexican Churches because in these countries the Rotary has gone into the hands of Freemasons and is regarded as a kind of secret society.
" That is not the case in France, and if all those Catholics abandon Rotary they will play into the hands of those who wish to turn it into a kind of Free Masonic sect."
