Vatican Reactions
Mgr. Orsenigo, Papal Nuncio in Berlin, has made a sharp protest to the Berlin Government against the recent attack on Cardinal Innitzer's palace, it is stated.
The Osservatore Romano, semi-official Vatican newspaper, " protests in the name of Christianity and civilisation," and sends the Cardinal its sincere sympathy.
Italian newspapers refrain from comment.
ANOTHER PROTEST?
The Pope is expected to lodge another protest with the German Government as soon as he has had a personal account of the whole affair from Cardinal Innitzer.
