DOWN THE OLD PILGRIMS WAY

The Lenten Walk from Maidstone to Canterbury, covering nearly 40 miles of open country, muoh of it along the old Pilgrims Way, was undertaken last week by 18 members of the University of London Catholic Graduate Society.
The party left on Saturday and spent the night at Ashford. They reached Canterbury on Sunday evening. The graduates hope to follow the Pilgrims Way from Guildford to Winchester at a later date.
