To Manila

In Rome preparations have been made for the Italian national pilgrimage which will go to Manila, early in the new year, to participate in the International Eucharistic Congress. The organisers have already experience of the work of taking large numbers of Catholics to various parts of the world; instances are the Eucharistic Congress at Buenos Aires and the solemn triduum for the closing of the jubilee year at Lourdes.
This national pilgrimage, all being well, will leave Trieste on January 4 in the liner Conte Rosso. Already many participants have been enrolled.
