Duke of Gloucester sees the Pope
THE Duke of Gloucester was
received in private audience by the Holy Father on Tuesday. The Duke. who has been visiting war graves, was accompanied to the Vatican by Field Marshal Lord Alexander. who also was received by His Holiness.
The Duke's audienee'lastecl about 15 minutes. Previous Royal visitors to the present Pope have been the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh—when Her Majesty was Princess Elizabeth —and Princess Margaret.
