Friends to aid home for deaf

THE inaugural meeting of the Friends of Fr. Roberts' Home for Deaf Boys, which is at Sehaile, the Lebanon, was held at 36 Edith Road, London, W.I4, on Wednesday. The aim of the Friends is help the home in every way and particularly by raising funds.
Fr. Roberts, an English priest and former Army chaplain in the Middle East, began the home eight years ago with one deaf child and is now training 40 deaf and dumb boys of all races and faiths. The boys themselves are now helping to build a new home which replaces inadequate rented premises.
