25 YEARS A BISHOP

Celebration for Archbishop King TO mark his silver jubilee as a Bishop, Archbishop King. Bishop of Portsmouth, will give a special Pontifical Benediction to the children of the Diocese in St. Peter's Church, Winchester on Sunday next and will celebrate Pontifical Mass the following evening. On July 18, the Archbishop will celebrate Pontifical Mass in the presence of the Apostolic Delegate, in his Cathedral at Portsmouth.
A special presentation dinner will he held in the Guildhall. Portsmouth on July 25 when a gift in the form of a Nurse will be given to the Archbishop on behalf of the people of the diocese to educate a priest as a token of their appreciation.
