The Ladies Association of the North West London Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth, nin by the Sisters of Mercy, is holding a Christmas bazaar at the hospital on Thursday, December 1 (comm. 2 p.m.) to raise funds for hospital equipment. Last year's bazaar raised £748. The highest-ever amount raised was £1.060.
This year the organisers hope to top £1,000 again. Celebrities who will be present include Elizabeth Anderton, Brian Johnston, Robert Urquhart, Marie Ney, Kathleen Byron, Diana Hart and Veronica Turleigh.
