Full house for teacher's play

A new play about the Mass. "Bigger than the Morning Star", received such a warm reception at its first presentation during the Prize-day concert at the Cardinal Manning Secondary Girls' School. Ladbroke Grove, London, that it was put on again for training college students and over 100 people had to be turned away then.
Rosemary Pearce, a member of the staff, wrote the play. In addition to the actors on stago, there was a speaking choir. Photographs were thrown on to a screen and a tape recorder was linked with the microphone system.
Bingo with Bunter
The whole Billy Bunter cast from the Victoria Palace theatre, London, will be running Bingo at a Christmas Bazaar in aid of the Hospital of SS. John and Elizabeth (Sisters of Mercy), North-West London. The bazaar, on December 7, 2 p.m., will be held opposite the main door of the hospital in a new hall made available by the local Synagogue.
