ARCHBISHOP Felici, Papal Nuncio to Ireland, died in Dublin on Wednesday morning after an operation. He was 71. Mgr. Felici succeeded the late Archbishop Robinson in 1948. He had previously been Nuncio to Chile and in Yugoslavia. As a mark of respect, State functions, including the presentation of credentials by Dr. Walter de Bourg, Swiss Charge d'Affaires, arranged for Wednesday, were postponed. Mgr. Felici was born in Segni. about 40 miles from Rome, and was ordained in 1903. He became Professor of Theology at the Segni seminary and later went to the regional ,seminary at Catanzaro.
He was then called to the Papal
Secretariat e, and served in Belgrade, Lisbon, and Santiago, Chile.
