Duke of Norfolk Special Ambassador for Coronation

Pope Pius XII will be crowned on the outer balcony of St. Peter's, after singing High Mass in the Basilica, on Sunday.
He is the first Pope to be crowned thus in public since Pope Leo XIII.
The Coronation service is being broadcast from all Regional stations from approximately 8.45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshal of England, will be Britain's special Ambassador to the Holy See for the Coronation of the Pope.
The Duke represented the King at the Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Pius XI sung by Mgr. Godfrey, Papal Delegate to Great Britain, at Westminster Cathedral.
