OTTAWA'S NEW ARCHBISHOP
Consecrated at age at 34
Mgr. Joseph Marie Lemieux, 51year-old Bishop of Gravelbourg, has been appointed Archbishop of Ottawa in succession to Archbishop Vachon. president of the permanent U m rn it tee of the International Eucharistic Congress, who died suddenly a few weeks ago.
Mgr. Lemieux was consecrated Bishop at the age of 34. He was appointed to two titular sees before becoming Bishop of Gravelbourg nine years ago.
