NEXT week's Foreign Mission 'state of THE CATHot it HERALD (published in connection with Mission Sunday) will contain some very important articles.
FATHER CLIFFORD HOWELL, who worked with the recent Nijmegen Study Week on Missions and Liturgy, gives us a vivid picture of bow the leading missionaries from from all over the world see TODAY'S Mission problem. His article lists eight practical conclusions about desirable liturgical changes in the future. DOM BEDE GRIFFITHS gives (so far as we know) the first personal account of the Syrian rite Benedictine community, of which he is a member, among the Syrian Catholics in Kerala.
We are arranging a special interview with the SUPERIOR GENERAL OF THE WHITE FATHERS on " The Church and the Future of Africa ".
From a remarkable collection or Missionary pictures we shall print some of the most striking ever published in this country.
A Foreign Missions issue like this is of importance to ALL Catholics, for much of the future of the Church today lies in the less developed areas of the world where Christianity is the sole effective challenge to Communism.
