POINTS FROM LETTERS

Litany of Loretto
From time to time letters ap
pear the Catholic Press regretting that nowadays the Litany of Loretto is so seldom sung at Benediction. Would not a revival of this laudable custom help to mark the Marian Year to which the Holy Father is calling us?,-C. P. Peacn, St. Edward's School, 64 Tilehurst Road, Reading.
Rosary beads
Is it possible to buy a pair of rosary beads made of ball chain, similar to the neck chains used by the American Forces for their identification discs? -C. E. MORGAN, 105 West Grove, Gipsyville, Hull.
Parish life and leakage
In your issue of October 2, Mr. A. Pariah states that during the two years he and his family have lived in his parish no one has spoken a word to any of them or even dreamed of recognising them as fellow Catholics united by all the wonders of Grace. A. Pariah may remedy this sad state of affairs by joining the Guild of the Blessed Sacrament the purpose of which is to honour the Sacred Body of God.-A. BLAIR, 22 Bolters Lane, Banstead, Surrey.
Margaret Sinclair
There has been a recent request from authorities endeavouring to bring about the beatification of Margaret Sinclair, to give to them details of prayers being answered, or difficult requests being granted. Can any reader give me the address to which information should be sent?ENID G. CAUSON. 31 Mayfield Gardens, Hanwell, London, W.7.
Afternoon nuptial Mass
Is it possible to have Nuptial Mass celebrated in the afternoon? I understand it is not, at present. Does this not constitute "one law for the rich, another for the poor"? A Nuptial Mass at, say, 10 a.m., involves longer wedding celebrations and almost doubles the cost of the wedding; for this reason very many Catholics must do without their right and privilege.C. J. ACRED, 37, Wyndham Avenue, Liverpool 14.
The general introduction of Evening Mass (after 4 p.m.) is very recent. If there is a general demand for Afternoon Nuptial Mass and this demand is brought to the attention of the Holy See and diocesan authorities, the matter would certainly be studied. -Editor, CATHOLIC HERALD.
