A KIDNAPPED Jesuit priest has now been released by captors in Zimbabwe.
Fr Fidelis Mukonori was seized while walking with fellow missionary Fr Dieter Scholz. Fr Scholz was ordered to lie face down on the floor, by armed men and told: "We will kill you tonight."
Fr Mukonori was then taken away in the assailants' cat He was stripped of his posses
sions and left further down the road. Fr Scholz described it as simply an armed robbery and not an attack on Fr Mukonori. "Robberies of this sort happen four to five times a week in this area," he said.
