Women priests

JESUS shared a respect for women and for their opinions in marked contrast to the average Rabbi of the time who treated religion as "man's business," along with politics! Indeed, this respect was so extraordinary that one might speculate as to whether or not the only reason he had for not 'ordaining' them was because they would not be listened to as much as male apostles, because of the social conventions of the time.
Today, those social conventions have changad, and the fact that women have not got a voice in the hierarchy of the Church stops many modern people from listening to our message! The situation has, perhaps, reversed! Excluding women from the priesthood does not now smack of prudent practicality but downright discrimination!
Traditionalists maintain that only a male priest can stand in the place of Christ at Mass, but is this valid? Surely this is just as much socially conditioned. Remember those radical and inspired words of St. Paul, "In Christ, there is neither male nor female". (Galatians 3:28) Therefore, anyone having the Spirit of Christ within them, and ordained by the proper authority, can preside at the Kevin O'onnll
