BISHOP VISITS SWAFFHAM

SwulTham (Norfolk) Catholics recently cleared off the debt on their church, and congratulations were expressed by Mgr. Parker, Bishop of Northampton, when he paid his visitation on Sunday last. The Bishop told the congregation that the next endeavour must be the erection of a new church.
The Bishop began his day with
Mass at 8 a.m. At the visitation ceremony he v. as met at the church door by the Rev. D. Y. Hillier, the parish priest, and the attendants. Mass was said in his presence, and in his address the Bishop stressed on the congregation that they must live the Christian Faith in their daily lives.
