ASUGUSTINA Vashchenko, 52, one of the seven Pentecostal Christians from Siberia living in the US Embassy in Moscow, began a hunger strike on Christmas Day in protest at the Soviet authorities' refusal to allow the seven to emigrate from the USSR.
