PRINCESS Armgard of LippeBiesterfeld, mother of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, was received into the Catholic Church last August by Cardinal Frings, Archbishop of Cologne, according to the Amsterdam newspaper Der Telegraat, on Tuesday.
Prince Bernhard, husband of Queen Juliana, is like all the Dutch Royal Family. a member of the Dutch Reformed Church.
